Clearmark wins "Innovative Ancillary Equipment" PPMA award
23rd October, 2019
Coding and labelling solutions provider Clearmark Solutions (ICE) has been named as the winner of the ‘Innovative Ancillary Equipment’ category at the prestigious PPMA Industry awards.
The award celebrates companies that have developed a creative solution to solve an industry challenge by installing ancillary equipment to existing machinery, resulting in significant productivity improvements and cost-saving.
The awards gala, which took place at the National Conference Centre in Birmingham was hosted by comedian and impressionist Jon Culshaw. Clearmark were up against strong competition within the category but the company’s long-term commitment to providing customers with technically workable coding solutions was deemed worthy of the win by the judging panel.
Chris Simpson, Managing Technical Director at Clearmark, said: “We’re extremely proud to have been recognised by the PPMA as a leading coding and labelling solution provider within the industry.
“I would like to extend my gratitude to the team for their continued hard work and commitment to delivering the very best solutions to our customers. This is something which we value highly within the business and see as being integral in order to receive this award.”
The awards ceremony took place during the second night of the PPMA Total Show, held at NEC Arena in Birmingham (1 -3rd October), where Clearmark exhibited a wide range of ICE coding and labelling solutions including the next generation Zodiac range, the Vulcan print and apply labeller, the Viper thermal inkjet printer and Zebra desktop printer range.
During the show, Clearmark also invited visitors onto the stand to see if they could “Beat the Hawk” in an interactive game in order to be in with a chance of winning an Apple Watch.
